If someone runs into the same problem I hope this helps. I was looking around for other solutions but, they didn't help or they didn't apply to my situation (like I don't have Citrix Workspace installed). When I put the option back to Auto-Select, the problem was instantly gone. In the NVIDIA Control Panel under 3D Settings -> Configure Surround, PhysX -> PhysX Setings, I had set the processor to the GPU instead of Auto-Select. I thought that I had messed with some GPU setting so I tried fiddling around with some things (to no avail) until I came upon something I know I had tampered with: Other non Unity games (Control, Dawn Horizon, etc) were working just fine. I also noticed that Mark of the Ninja Remasted (GOG version) was suffering from some inexplicable slowdown, where the framerate in the main menu was in the single digits (but not in the original version.). All I heard was some kind of audio alert, with the Unity games sending out some crash info, and the games all just shut down. When I tried the games again today not a single Unity game worked. ![]() I just got a few games made with Unity the other day, tried them all at least for a minute and then left them alone until the next day. ![]()
